•    Ni-Co/SiC-CeO2 composite coating was prepared on a copper substrate using the pulse electrodeposition method.
•    Higher current densities (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 A/cm²) lead to an increase in microhardness as a result of grain refinement.
•    Increasing the duty cycles (10, 20, 30 %) leads to a decrease in microhardness due to lower nanoparticle concentration.
•    Higher duty cycles result in a reduction in corrosion resistance, as they mimic a DC state.
•    Higher frequencies (10, 100, 1000 Hz) improve both microhardness and corrosion resistance.


 

•    This study examined the crystallization behaviors of PVC hybrid biocomposites using sea shell wastes (SS) as reinforcement materials and graphene derivatives (GO and RGO) as fillers.
•    The addition of 20 wt% SS can significantly enhance PVC's structural, thermal and mechanical characteristics.
•    RGO and SS offers a very stable supporting effect and it can be improve of the many more properties of PVC due to the excellent compatibility between the PVC-RGO-SS.

Highlights
•    Bi2O3 thin films were synthesized via low-cost method of dip coating.
•    The maximum average transmission in the visible region was about 78%.
•    β-tetragonal phase was dominant for all Bi2O3
•    All films show hydrophilic surface with a contact angle between 45.57 and 67.14°.
•    0.1M achieved high photocatalytic efficiency of 99.9%.

    BaSnO3 perovskite is green synthesized using M. oleifera leaf extract.
    Enhanced antimicrobial properties were realized.
    A maximum degradation efficiency of 89.7% was realized.
    The green synthesized BaSnO3 is of defocusing nature.
